The foundation of our company was laid by a visionary whose
small dream brought ARS Group into existence, named the company Asha Ram and Sons and made it into an industrial example

1945 -1960

Establishment

Business established by Mr. Asha Ram Gupta as private partnership in Med Ganj, near Sadar Bazar to trade pulses, while planning for future growth.

1960 -1975

Marching Ahead

Established Asha Ram Ram Saroop to supply Molasses to Yeast manufacturers. Also got separated and established Asha Ram & Sons.

1975 -1981

Setting New Standards

Set up an office in Paharganj while adding product lines in bakery industry, like Calcium Propionate, GMS, Yeast, and Molasses. Having the shop closer to the railway station benefitted in terms of attracting walk-ins from bakers and wholesalers from all over North India. This helped in taking a big step in the Bakery Industry and gain confidence to move ahead.

1982 -1988

Making of No.1 Bread in Delhi

Mr. Shiv Gupta, after completing hi graduation, establishes Shakti Brea and works towards making it No. bread in Delhi. He also set up the firs diesel oven in Delhi.

1989 -2000

New Ventures

After an experience of 6 years in the bread industry, Mr. Shiv Gupta joins Asha Ram & Sons, and helps convert it to a Private Limited company. Growing further, collaborated with brands like Sonic Biochem. He also organised the organisation further with respect to compliances and process optimisation.

2001 -2010

Biggest Turning Point

Established various distribution and sales channels while onboarding global brands like General Mills, Del Monte and more under ARS Food Ingredients Pvt. Ltd. as a new company under the group of companies. Moved to new office in D-Mall, Pitampura, New Delhi. Expanded by adding more warehouses along with enhancing the connection by introducing cell-phones.

2011 - 2020

Expanding Wings

Enhanced warehousing at Mumbai, Delhi, and Noida; and manufacturing capacity at Lawrence Road, all conceptualised by new-gen strategist, Mr. Akshit Gupta, a graduate inbakery science and technology from American Institute of Baking (AIB) joining the business. He partnered with brands like Fonterra, JB Cocoa, and Dupont and stepped into Dairy Industry. He also helped expand the distribution business in Noida.

Asharam, 2021 -Today

Automation of business by setting up ERP systems; extension of team & office. Launched Xpres Bake, Gold Farm, and Whisk & Bake. Set up Solar Panels. Expanded further with new warehouse space of 3 lakh sq. feet storage space. Set up of new application lab, along with upcoming warehouse.
